These simple instructions will make disassembly very easy.
1. Slide a serving knife under the top tier and remove cake for cutting.
2. Unscrew exposed center post and remove cake support plate. Leave all parts in plate and center post.
3. Repeat process until base plate is revealed. Collect all sections in a box and return to shop.
4. Disassemble and wash before next use.
By all means, do not take the entire support system apart when serving. Make it simple and do this back at the kitchen where each piece can be washed and readied for the next cake stacking.
This process also helps keep up with fewer parts and this means less chance of a piece getting lost.
