The support system is made up of base plates which hold the bottom tier, support plates that hold all tiers above the base cake, center post that adjust to match the exact height of each cake tier, and stainless steel threaded dowels that give the system it incredible strength.
All support pieces ARE INCLUDED IN CAKE STAND SETS to match your described cake support system, even a match set of precut cake circles!

~ Cake Stand Parts KIT ~
It cost about as much to ship 1 small piece as it does to ship 21 small pieces. Because of this we have put together a Small Parts Replacement KIT that includes 21 small pieces ~ parts.
It's hard to loose a 21" Steel Plate, but a 1" piece could wander off. We recommend keeping this small parts replacment KIT on hand just in case.
~ 21 inch Base Plate ~
This strong 1/8” thick aluminum plate measures 21” and designed to securely hold an 18 inch base cake tier. This allows room for piping or decorating around the bottom with room for lifting, handling, and transporting.
Deliver tall tier cakes fully stacked safely! It all starts with a strong base and this aluminum and stainless steel cake stand base plate will protect your cakes during transport! This size is currently available in "round only"
~ 19 inch Base Plate ~
This strong 1/8” thick aluminum plate measures 19” and designed to securely hold a 16 inch base cake tier. This allows room for piping or decorating around the bottom with room for lifting, handling, and transporting.
The base plate is the anchor that holds all the weight and is the foundation of your aluminum and stainless steel cake stand support system.
~ 17 inch Base Plate ~
This strong 1/8” thick aluminum plate measures 17” and designed to securely hold a 14 inch base cake tier.
Each base plate has a small tab that allows you to move, slide, and turn the finished cake safely.
1 ~ 15 inch Base Plate
This strong 1/8” thick aluminum plate measures 15” and designed to securely hold a 12 inch base cake tier.
Use the cake decorating turntable attachment to connect 2 base plates and have a cake decorating turntable up to 21" in diameter!
~ 13 inch Base Plate ~
This strong 1/8” thick aluminum plate measures 13” and designed to securely hold a 10 inch base cake tier.
The precut cake boards each have one center hole for each base plate that matches the diameter of the center post. Support plate cake boards have 7 precut holes.
~ 16 inch Support Plate ~
This aluminum support plate measures 15 ¾” and designed to securely hold a 16 inch cake. There are 3 center holes for creative stacking (straight tiered, spiral, offset, staggered).
There are also 4 threaded holes to receive the stainless steel cake stand threaded dowels for incredible cake support. This size is currently available in "round only."
~ 14 inch Support Plate ~
This aluminum support plate measures 13 ¾” and designed to securely hold a 14 inch cake. There are 3 center holes for creative stacking (straight tiered, spiral, offset, staggered).
There are also 4 threaded holes to receive the stainless steel cake stand threaded dowels for incredible cake support.
~ 12 inch Support Plate ~
This aluminum support plate measures 11 ¾” and designed to securely hold a 12 inch cake. There are 3 center holes for creative stacking (straight tiered, spiral, offset, staggered).
There are also 4 threaded holes to receive the stainless steel cake stand threaded dowels for incredible cake support!
~ 10 inch Support Plate ~
This aluminum support plate measures 9 ¾” and designed to securely hold a 10 inch cake. There are 3 center holes for creative stacking (straight tiered, spiral, offset, staggered).
There are also 4 threaded holes to receive the stainless steel cake stand threaded dowels for incredible cake support!
~ 8 inch Support Plate ~
This aluminum support plate measures 7 ¾” and designed to securely hold an 8 inch cake. There are 3 center holes for creative stacking (straight tiered, spiral, offset, staggered).
There are also 4 threaded holes to receive the stainless steel threaded dowels for incredible cake support!
~ 6 inch Support Plate ~
This aluminum support plate measures 5 ¾” and designed to securely hold a 6 inch cake. There are 2 center holes for creative stacking (straight tiered, spiral, offset, staggered).
There are also 4 threaded holes to receive the stainless steel threaded dowels for incredible cake support!
~ 6 inch Top Cap ~
The 6 inch top cap has three uses. First, as a smooth top plate for a cupcake stand with your top tier smooth to hold a small anniversary cake, large cupcake, or several cupcakes.
Second, as the bottom tier for a hanging cake or chandelier cake. See the chandelier cake kit below.
Also, the top plate will allow you to “turn it upside down” when placed on top.
~ Chandelier Cake Kit ~
Hang your aluminum and stainless steel cake stand upside down for a unique chandelier presentation.
This kit includes the 6 inch top cap which is used for your bottom support.
Additionally, the kit includes the hanging bolt, spacers, and rods to extend your center post thru your top cake.
~ Cake Stand Center Post Kit ~
The center post kit will adjust from 3 inches up to 6 inches to match the exact height of your cake tier.
Adjust to 6 inches for a pedestal and have room between cake tiers.
Here is a picture example of all sizes that this center post kit will assemble.
Cake tiers are all different heights; this will assemble to match them!
With a diameter of 5/8 inches the post easily slide thru the center of your cake.
~ Set of 4 Stainless Steel Threaded Dowels ~
These stainless steel threaded dowels are used with your support plates and measure 6 1/2 inches long.
The stainless cake stand dowels add tremendous strength to the system to securely hold your cakes in place.
~ Cascading Cake Stand Base ~
This strong aluminum and stainless steel cake stand cascading base is made from 1/8” thick aluminum plate is designed to securely hold 4 cakes at different heights on risers.
Many of the parts needed for the cascading cake stand are already included with a Cake Stackers™ support system SET!

~ Turntable Attachment ~
This turntable attachment is designed to connect two of the Cake Stackers™ base plates.
Standard sets come with only one base plate. Pro sets come with multiple base plates.

~ Cake Tier Separator KIT ~
The cake tier separator set KIT includes the parts needed to combine with your center post and create up to an 8 inch separation between your plates.
You will need one separator kit per tier that you want to extend.
