The most beautiful cake turned nightmare!

My nightmare The wedding table

My friend Tammy was getting married and asked me to do her cakes..I originally declined the wedding cake and accepted the groom's cake request...Two weeks before the wedding she called all upset saying the lady that was doing her cake was ill and couldn't do it. So I really had no choice, but to try this larger than I had done before cake. Several things went wrong and we ended up being late to the reception place, with a cake that almost fell over. It was so beautiful when we left the house and we were only driving about 10 minutes. My first wedding cake was only 3 tier and it made it 45 minutes and didn't even move. This one.. oh no. It shifted straight backwards, which was the only good thing. I was crying and didn't know what to do. We took it upstairs and I fixed it as best I could. The event staff was trying to calm me down they stuck the roses in it to hide the back a little. I thought I was going to vomit. It was the most horrible thing ever...everyone I know was at this wedding. I didn't want to come back for the reception..Here I was supposed to be a guest and missed the wedding entirely and now the cake was less than beautiful and I had to show my face at the reception. Her Dad called me and everything. He made me promise that we were coming back and he refused not to pay me. He said they knew it was my second wedding cake and sometimes things just happen. It was such a let down to me, I'm still upset about it. I haven't taken any more wedding orders since then. I don't know if I want to either.
